FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

A few things
worth knowing.

The practical details, from your first calendar to your next renewal.

Which calendars work with Done Cal?

Done Cal shows calendars available through Apple Calendar on your iPhone or iPad, including connected iCloud, Google, Exchange and CalDAV accounts. Choose all calendars or a subset. It does not offer a separate Google login or direct calendar-file import on this website.

Does checking off an event change the original?

No. Done Cal keeps a separate completion record for that occurrence. Checking off, undoing completion and postponing inside Done Cal leave the connected calendar record unchanged. Creating or editing a calendar event is a separate action that can change that calendar.

What happens to recurring events?

Each occurrence has its own checkmark. Completing Monday’s event does not complete the next occurrence. Postponing one occurrence inside Done Cal does not move the recurring series.

Do early or late checkmarks still count?

Yes. Every completed eligible event contributes equally. On time means from the event’s scheduled start through five minutes after its end. An optional timing breakdown changes the presentation, not the number of events you completed.

Does Focus automatically check off an event?

No. Focus is optional and included in Pro. When an interval ends, you choose what happens next: complete the event, extend, take a break, run another interval or finish without checking it off.

Is Done Cal free?

The app provides a read-only preview. Checking off your own events requires Core or an active Pro subscription. Core is a one-time purchase; Pro is a monthly or annual subscription that includes Core access while active. Download availability and live prices are confirmed in the App Store.

Do I need to buy Core before Pro?

No. An active Pro subscription includes Core access. If you separately purchase Core, that permanent unlock remains when Pro ends, unless the Core purchase is refunded or revoked.

Is there a free trial?

Only if Apple offers one for the selected Pro plan and confirms your eligibility. The app shows any eligible offer, its duration and the full renewal price before you authorize a purchase. A trial is not promised to every visitor.

What happens when Pro ends?

Pro features become unavailable when the entitlement expires. Core access remains if you bought Core separately. Ending Pro does not erase your calendar or Done Cal data. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Can I use Done Cal on Android or in my browser?

This site explains the Apple app; it is not a web calendar. The current native project targets iPhone and iPad on iOS/iPadOS 17 or later, with a Pro Apple Watch companion on watchOS 10 or later. Android and standalone desktop/web apps are not offered here.
